To enhance industry integrity and professionalism, IFIA AC members are required to follow the IFIA Compliance Code, which mandates ethical business practices.  This includes operating in an impartial manner to verify client or third party products, services or systems; avoiding conflicts of interest; maintaining confidentiality when necessary; prohibiting bribery and representing themselves in a fair and truthful manner.   More detailed information on this is contained in the IFIA Compliance Code and IFIA Compliance Code: Implementation Guidelines

As a condition of IFIA AC membership, members must abide by the IFIA Compliance Code.  This entails:

	IFIA AC approval of program and its implementation An organization-wide compliance program Policies and procedures in accordance with the Code Staff training Regular compliance monitoring
